Annika Rose - Stalker

Stalker was my first time writing through the lens of someone else. someone else being a dude. one that treated my friend like she was disposable, and then decided to uproot his entire life and move in on the same street as her. in new york. and transfer colleges. so yeah. hence stalker. it’s the classic tale of you don’t know love til you lose it. it walks through the story of him realizing he didn’t appreciate what was in front of him when he had it, and then doing everything in his power to win her love back. like faking his own death… if that’s what it would take. it’s dramatic, but i guess we’ve all been there in one way or another. at least our intrusive thoughts have played out that narrative. the issue is, there’s still no grown up confrontation. it’s just another manipulative tactic for her attention instead of saying hey, i miss you, i fucked up, i’m sorry.
